Animation Highlight reel (2D, 3D)
2015-2017
At first, Pablo dreamed of one day becoming an animator. His passion to pursue that dream is what ultimately lead him to pursuing a career in graphic design. Now at his fourth-year in college Pablo has had a great deal of experience with animation in programs such as ToonBoom, Adobe Animate (flash), and 4D Cinema. The potential is present and surely there is more to come...
"This highlight reel was everything to me at first. I will always refer back to my first few years as an animator in College."
- Pablo
Henry the Hyena
2019
It may seem like a short fun animation but this project demonstrates Pablo's understanding of many of the animation principles such as Anticipation, Staging, Appeal, Timing, and more. Can you spot the animation principles? In addition this short animation features an original character brainstormed by Pablo himself "Henry the Hyena".
"This project may not be Perfect but I was running on a strict deadline and I added background(s), sound FX, color and awesome animation not bad for a one man team"
- Pablo
Play Dead (3D Animation)
2019
Perhaps Pablo's most challenging 3D animation project! Pablo faced a number of obstacles and restarted over 4 times! Running on a deadline and learning the program the same semester Pablo's dedication, passion and strong desire to have a finished piece resulted in this awesome animation! Lip syncing, timing, follow through, slow in and slow out are present in this animation.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you how many times I had to start over... I am extremely proud of this piece because it demonstrates my work effort and how far I will go to get it right!"

CYCLOPS RAGE!
2019
CYCLOPS EXPLODES WITH RAGE IN THE DANGER ROOM!
This animation demonstrates a "lifting exercise". Using himself as reference, Pablo was able to execute this awesome work.
"Reference goes a long way, my professors always taught me to use it!"

Floursack Coyote

Every animation student has a flour sack exercise to demonstrate their understanding of animation. Pablo decided to have fun with his piece using Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner as inspiration!
"He realized he wasn't going to make and looked at you for help."
